Welcome to NERMA!

We are an emerging Artist in Development community. This is a private community and we would love to have aspiring, semi-pro and professional roots artists join us on Facebook and Instagram sites. (IG coming soon) If your music is rooted in original roots or traditional styles of music from anywhere on the planet you are invited to join us and share your music.

Please note: We are not a NARAS/National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences aka the Grammys community. However, NARAS members are more than welcome to join and participate but please FYCs (For your voting consideration) are not allowed.

The NERMA Mission:

To create an inclusive caring and supportive music community.

NERMA is a Roots Music Community, meaning if your music is rooted in a tradition such as singer/songwriter, folk, blues, Celtic, Québécois, Latin, Regional Roots in America or any roots music from around the planet this is a place for you. We can share our recorded music, videos shows/gigs etc. with our NERMA mates.

NERMA is also a place to share ideas, learn and grow musically.

NERMA intends to create opportunities to perform our music in theater venues throughout the Nor'east Region to an audience and build your/our base.

We have a showcase scheduled on Friday April 28, 2023 at the Dance Hall Kittery, Maine. If you are a solo, duo or trio act you are welcome to apply through our soon to be released social media pages or email us a www.wholemusic@wholemusic.com

Shows will be videoed and recorded for your promotional use going forward.

Performance Protocol: Each artist act is roughly 6 minutes with 16 performances and one inclusive finale similar to Mountain Stage

All performers will follow an application process. There is a performance rate of $65 upon acceptance. This partly will cover the cost of the theater/stage production/video/photography/promotion/backup band and post video production.

This will be a ticketed event open to the general public, family and friends.

All performers will receive a produced video of the whole show and a video of their performance.

If you need a back up band E J Ouellette & The Whole Music Studio Band will be on hand to support your performance. (more details coming)

The first NERMA Showcase is on Friday April 28, 2023 at The Dance Hall Kittery, ME. A beautiful venue…We can’t wait! We will pack the audience:-)
